The HanoiLUG editorial team researches and writes the home internet content on HanoiLUG.org. The site sits on a domain that hosted the Hanoi GNU/Linux Users Group between 2011 and 2016, and the editorial work today is carried on under that name out of respect for the community’s primary-source-first standards rather than fiction of continuity. The site covers router admin (default credentials, login URLs, brand-specific guides), ISP performance reference (covering 100+ countries), WiFi connectivity (airports, airlines, hotels), and APN settings for mobile data.
Editorial approach
Every page on HanoiLUG is grounded in primary-source data: official ISP technical documents, router manufacturer manuals, public connectivity datasets. Speed measurements use the NDT7 protocol (M-Lab). Where opinion or commentary appears, it is clearly framed and based on first-person testing.
