Converge ICT Router Login

192.168.1.1

Philippines Huawei, ZTE

Converge ICT is the fastest-growing fibre broadband provider in the Philippines. Most Converge routers use 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway. This guide covers login steps, default passwords, and configuration for Converge-supplied routers.

Converge ICT routers use 192.168.1.1 as the default gateway. Converge ICT Solutions Inc. runs a pure FTTH (Fiber to the Home) network and is the fastest-growing fibre broadband provider in the Philippines, having grown from its Luzon base into Visayas and now Mindanao. The provider markets FiberX and the newer Super FiberX plans, the Surf2Sawa prepaid service, and ships ZTE, Huawei, and Fiberhome ONT hardware across its subscriber base. HanoiLUG tracks Converge within its wider set of Philippines ISP router login guides.

How to Login to Your Converge ICT Router

To reach the Converge router admin panel, join the network by wireless or a wired LAN port first. In a browser, type 192.168.1.1 into the address bar and wait a moment for the login screen.

The credentials depend on which ONT Converge installed. On the ZTE F670L, the basic login is admin with the password Converge@zte123. On Huawei units, the label-printed password covers basic access. Both share the gateway with PLDT and other Filipino ISPs, but the Converge firmware ships its own passwords, so the generic admin/admin combo rarely works. The full credential matrix sits in the table below.

The GoFiber app handles billing, plan changes, signal checks, and support tickets, but it does not expose port forwarding or DHCP. Those settings live only in the web panel at 192.168.1.1.

If nothing loads, double-check that your device is on the Converge connection rather than cellular data, and key in http://192.168.1.1 with the prefix for a clean handshake.

Converge ICT Router Models and Default Settings

The ONT you receive depends on your plan tier, location, and installation date. Converge layers three access levels on most units: a basic admin or user account for everyday settings, and a higher telecomadmin or operator account for bridge mode and advanced changes.

The ZTE F670L is the workhorse of the Converge fleet, a single box that terminates the fibre and serves dual-band Wi-Fi, fitted on most FiberX and Super FiberX plans. Converge supplies the same chassis families as PLDT, but the two ISPs flash different firmware passwords, so a ZTE login that works on Converge will not open a PLDT unit. Newer firmware may swap the shared password for a per-device password printed on the label.

Changing Your Converge ICT Wi-Fi Password

FiberX subscribers should change the default Wi-Fi password soon after installation, since Converge@zte123 and the other factory passwords circulate freely in Philippine forums. Here is the process for the ZTE F670L, the unit most subscribers receive.

Log in at 192.168.1.1 with admin and Converge@zte123. Open the Network menu, then WLAN. The 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks appear under WLAN SSID Configuration.

Pick the network you want to edit. Rename the SSID away from the default (Converge ships it as CONVERGE_ plus a few characters) to whatever you prefer. Drop a fresh key of 12 characters or more into the WPA Passphrase box, steering clear of your mobile number or street number.

Hit Submit. Every joined device drops off and has to pair again, so repeat the edit on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios separately.

The GoFiber app is quicker for this: open Manage, tap the WiFi tile, type the new key, and save without opening the web panel at all.

Using Your Own Router with Converge ICT

Converge welcomes third-party routers. Because the ZTE F670L authenticates the fibre line itself and outputs plain Ethernet, a personal router only has to handle Wi-Fi and routing behind it.

Steps to add your own router behind the ZTE F670L:

  1. Sign in to the ONT and switch off its built-in radios so the two devices stop competing on the air.
  2. Run an Ethernet patch lead from LAN port 1 on the Converge unit into the WAN socket of your router.
  3. On that router, leave the WAN profile on DHCP; the ONT hands it an address automatically.
  4. Where both boxes claim the 192.168.1.x range, move your router’s LAN to 192.168.0.x so the subnets stop clashing.
  5. Reboot the pair and confirm pages load end to end.

FiberX residential lines need no PPPoE username or VLAN tag. The Converge ONT carries that handshake upstream, which is what makes the bridge-behind setup painless.

Popular routers among Filipino broadband subscribers include the TP-Link Archer AX73 and Asus RT-AX86U. Mesh systems help in larger Filipino homes where concrete walls reduce Wi-Fi signal.

Converge FiberX and Surf2Sawa Plans

The router you receive maps to your plan family. Postpaid FiberX runs from entry tiers around 35 Mbps up to 1 Gbps. The newer Super FiberX lineup raised the ceiling with Max at 400 Mbps, PRIME at 800 Mbps, and ULTRA at 1 Gbps, plus gamer-focused tiers built on the same pure-fibre line. Surf2Sawa is the prepaid counterpart, a load-as-you-go fibre service managed through its own app rather than the GoFiber app.

Every tier runs over the same FTTH backbone, so the login steps above apply whether you are on FiberX, Super FiberX, or Surf2Sawa. Choosing between providers is a separate question: our Globe vs PLDT comparison covers the two largest Philippine ISPs, and each PLDT router guide and Globe router guide breaks down their own credentials.

Troubleshooting Converge ICT Router Issues

These are the problems Converge subscribers report most, with the fix for each.

  1. The admin page never opens. Make sure your phone or laptop is riding the Converge line rather than mobile data, then enter the address with its http:// prefix. A wired link is steadier than Wi-Fi for this. Still blank after a few tries? Reset the router.

  2. It rejects the password. Look for a per-device password on the chassis label, since installers occasionally set one by hand. On a ZTE F670L the operator / operator@123 pair unlocks the deeper menus; on a Huawei box, try telecomadmin / Converge@huawei123. Holding reset for 15 seconds wipes back to factory values.

  3. Linked up but offline. Pull the ONT’s power for half a minute, plug it back, and bring the router up after it. No internet still? File it through the GoFiber app or ring Converge on (02) 8667 0850.

  4. Wi-Fi feels slow. Plug into Ethernet and retest; the fibre line delivers full rate over a cable. If only wireless lags, park nearby gear on the 5 GHz band. Thick concrete in Filipino homes eats signal, so a mesh kit or your own router often closes the gap.

  5. The LOS lamp glows red. Red LOS flags a broken fibre signal. Follow the strand back to the wall terminal and inspect it for kinks or crush points, and never fold a fibre cable tight. If it looks clean, report the outage on (02) 8667 0850.

Test your Converge ICT connection

After logging into your router, run a speed test to confirm Converge ICT is delivering the throughput your plan promises. The widget below uses M-Lab's open NDT7 protocol — see the full speed test page for details on how the measurement works.
